CPAS is now affiliated with the journal Pediatric Anesthesia

Posted in News

CPAS is pleased to announce that it has accepted an invitation from the journal Pediatric Anesthesia to become an Affiliated Society of the Journal. This formalises an agreement that came into effect at the start of 2016, which secured a discounted subscription rate to the Journal for CPAS members. The formal invitation means that CPAS members with a Pediatric Anesthesia subscription will have free access to the Journal’s app. In addition, the journal will also provide advertising space on its website for the Canadian PediatricAnesthesia Society meetings and events. CPAS Board members will join the newly-formed Common Interest Group of the Journal’s affiliated societies. In time, we hope to provide direct access to the Journal via the CPAS website. In the meantime, CPAS members can follow the link to create or renew their subscription.

Letter from the CPAS President - Dr Simon Whyte

November 9th, 2015

Dear Colleagues

It is a year since I became President of the Canadian Pediatric Anesthesia Society &, with a year of my term to run, I feel I am nowhere near halfway through my to-do list!

Two major structural changes have occupied a large amount of my time so far, both very much ‘behind-the-scenes’ issues & neither seemingly very exciting at first blush, but both have far-reaching implications and present important opportunities for the evolution of CPAS.
