EMK Survey Results
It has come to the attention of CPAS that the only Health Canada approved needle cricothyroidotomy kit, the Enk Oxygen Flow Modulator Set, is no longer commercially available in Canada.
CPAS surveyed its membership to collect data regarding awareness of this issue and what solutions have been considered and implemented. It turns out most CPAS members were not aware of the issue, and only one respondent indicated a local alternative, the Rüsch Quicktrach, which I don’t think is commercially available here.
